Change Can Be Effective...& Delicious

Days can be long and free time is often at a premium. But even an available moment can make a difference. We should strive to effect positive #change even as individuals because the ability is there to do so and the effort has the potential to pay off.

A few weeks ago I reached out to the corporate headquarters of a well-known Italian restaurant chain and expressed interest in #vegan menu options, namely, #pizza. One of these restaurants is in my neighborhood, and I still recall enjoying the establishment's foods -- pasta but mainly, pizza -- from years gone by. As if having a romantic longing for an old flame, I reminisced about the past and imagining reuniting and rekindling the magic. Here’s a bit of how that dialogue went,...and here’s the change-inspired, delicious vegan pizza I just ordered that is now on the menu.

The #restaurant industry is a particularly tough business, and eating out can be expensive. As consumers, our voiced opinions are respected and appreciated by thoughtful, considerate and wise restaurateurs. #WinWin
